Newcastle United's 'perfect' summer signing has just teased potential transfer with 'tantalising' claim
Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Newcastle United and Liverpool.
The 24-year-old netted nine times in 25 Premier League appearances last season, playing as either a central striker or as a right forward as Thomas Frank’s men finished 16th in the table.

Newcastle and Liverpool were credited with an interest in Mbeumo on the same day the Cameroon international revealed his ambition to play “at the best clubs”.
He told L’Equipe: “I have spent five years at Brentford, at a club that has allowed me to grow and pass a milestone but yes, I would like to play in the biggest competitions, at the best clubs. It is tantalising to see some big clubs interested in me. We will see.”
Eddie Howe is hoping to bolster his forward line during this summer’s transfer window and Mbeumo is a name that has cropped up in conversation among Newcastle fans.

I've been saying for a while now that he'd be my no. 1 choice at RW with all things considered. “The perfect profile, good age, Prem experience, feasible, and hopefully a decent price. Would absolutely love him at #NUFC.”
