Newcastle United unveil second 2024-25 Adidas kit after launch of home shirt - photos

Newcastle United’s 2024-25 Adidas home kit wasn’t the only new shirt to go on sale on Friday morning.

Newcastle United unveiled their new Adidas home shirt on Friday morning with supporters flocking to buy theirs, either online or in-store.

As captured by NewcastleWorld, hundreds if not thousands of fans lined up in the early hours of the morning outside the club’s temporary club shop, with the queue stretching from the Strawberry Pub past St James’ Park Metro Station and a beyond.

Indeed, fever pitch has well and truly hit Tyneside. Adidas previously partnered with the Magpies between 1995 and 2010 and created some of the most iconic kits in the club’s 132-year history.

And it isn’t just next season’s home strip that has caught the attention. As displayed as the club’s online store, Newcastle have released a Brazilian-themed goalkeeper shirt with its green and yellow colours bound to go down well with Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton.

You can view the shirt, along with a host of other products Newcastle and Adidas have released, in our gallery below.

Meanwhile, NewcastleWorld can reveal the away kit will be a throwback to the iconic 1995-96 Adidas away kit that featured horizontal blue and red stripes with a white trim.

It is due to be released in July and the third kit, set to go on sale in August, will be white with a black and green trim that somewhat resembles Newcastle’s 1999-2000 away shirt. A key difference to the third kit will be the change of club crest back to the design used from 1983 to 1988 when the likes of Paul Gascoigne, Glenn Roeder and Chris Waddle played for the club.
