Newcastle United fans were loud and proud at Wembley despite suffering a gut-wrenching Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester United.

Eddie Howe’s side fell behind to two first-half goals from Casemiro and Marcus Rashford, and unfortunately, never recovered.

But spirit and passion remained in the stands, as the 32,000-strong Geordies showed defiance during injury time by waving their black & white flags and singing to the very end.

The moment was captured by co-owner Jamie Reuben, who posted a reassuring message to devastated supporters at full-time.
