England return to action on Thursday evening as they bid to build on Sunday’s win against Serbia by picking up another result against Denmark. The Three Lions flattered to deceive at times in their Euro 2024 opener but they had enough to get their tournament off to a winning start.
It was a performance that throws up plenty of selection questions and many have been calling for Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon to get the nod on the left wing. It looks as though Kieran Trippier will start at left-back once again, though, with Gareth Southgate confirming that Luke Shaw won’t be fit enough to be involved.
With that in mind, here’s how England are expected to line up in Frankfurt on Thursday night as they look to build momentum and secure a spot in the knockout stages
