It looks like it will be a cloudy start to the day across the region with a low chance of rain. Temperatures will be around seven degrees and will be slightly lower in Northumberland at six degrees.

Looking further into the weekend the cloud will continue but we could see some sun in Middlesbrough. The chance of rain will remain low and temperatures will be at around 6 or 7 degrees but it will be colder in Northumberland at just 4 degrees.

Looking at the five-day forecast it will be a cloudy weekend across the North East with temperatures at around six and seven. Next week it will continue to be cloudy but we could see a higher chance of rain with temperatures of around seven or eight degrees.
