North East luxury homeware retailer celebrates first anniversary of Metrocentre store

A North East premium furniture store is celebrating the first anniversary of the opening of their Metrocentre store.

Rowen, which is located in the Upper Platinum Mall of the Metrocentre in Gateshead, opened their flagship store in 2023, following the launch of their online store in 2020. 

To celebrate Rowen’s first successful year as a store in the Metrocentre, the premium homeware and interior retailer hosted a special event, offering in-store customers a 10% discount off all of Rowen’s collections.

The North East based business was founded by Forbes 30 under 30 entrepreneur Alice Hall and her husband Andrew. 

Alice said: “Celebrating the first anniversary of our very first brick-and-mortar store is an

incredibly significant milestone for Rowen. It marks a year of growth and success and a

testament to our commitment to providing our customers with an unparalleled, in-person experience of luxury homeware.”
