Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes pens heartfelt birthday message to other half

Newcastle United player Bruno Guimaraes has taken to social media to share an adorable post dedicated to his wife, Ana Lidia Martins, for her birthday. 

The Brazilian midfielder has been married to Martins since 2023, tying the knot in their home city in a beautiful sunrise ceremony. 

The loved-up couple also share two children together. They welcomed their first son Matteo, in October 2022, and their second son Pietro in March of this year. 

Guimaraes celebrated his 27-year-old nutritionist wife for her birthday with a heartfelt message to her in an Instagram post, where he also shared ten of his favourite images of her.

The images shared in the birthday post included; the couple at their wedding, holiday photos, loved-up snaps, photos while Martins was pregnant, as well as photos with their children.

Guimaraes wrote a lengthy caption to his wife for her birthday, which translated from Portuguese to English reads: “Congratulations to my wife, the mother of my children and the love of my life! I wish you the best of the best my love, may Jesus continue to fill your life with blessings and may you continue to be the woman, wonderful mother that you are!

“I will never tire of saying how proud I am of you, of us and our family! Lots of Bruno in your life and may you continue being the wonderful person that you are! In health and in sickness, for poorer or for richer I always wana be your pair... thank you for putting up with me everyday, especially on the worst! 

“Lots of health to take care of our boys and you don't deserve congratulations just for your day and yes for the mother and wife that you are! I will always be grateful for your life and I will not measure efforts to make you happy! I love you with all the strength in the world! With love from your husband ❤️ 🎂”

Martins replied to the birthday post with an equally loving message to her other half, which read: “I am only what I am because I have you on the other side to protect me! I love you more than anything love of my life, I live for you three ❤️”

Guimaraes recently shared a wordless post on social media to voice his frustration over a penalty denied to Newcastle United during a 3-2 defeat at Manchester United.
