![Snickers favourite thing in life are his toys! He’d love a garden of his own to play in. He’s always on the go and can at times struggle to settle so will need his family to show him that it’s great to have some quite times and a snooze. For anyone who is used to Collie needs, then Snickers might just be the guy for you. He has bags of potential!](https://www.thestar.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2024/06/12/10/08/Snickers.jpg?crop=3:2&trim=&width=800)

![Tonk is looking for love, lifetime companionship a forever home with a family who will give him all the fuss and attention he needs. Tonk has been through an uncertain time, being found as a stray dog, so we do not hold any history on this beautiful 4 year old Saluki X breed. Tonk is instantly friendly, knows a few basic commands and takes treats gently when being rewarded with them. He is not able to live with cats or small furry animals, We think he could share his home with another neutered dog pending a successful meet here at the centre near Penrith. He has walking buddies and walks like a gentleman on the lead. He is respectful and doesn’t pull, showing us that he has had some training before coming into our care. He loves to play with soft toys. He would like a secure garden to access for the toilet and to zoom and roam in. Tonk would benefit from someone who is at home for most of the day while he settles into his forever home and new routines.](https://www.thestar.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2024/06/12/10/36/Tonk.jpg?crop=3:2&trim=&width=800)

![Jesse would love a home where she can enjoy some nice walks, and a game of fetch in the garden! She can have walking dog friends but would need to be the only dog in the home as she isn't keen on dogs in her face. She gets very excited when meeting people and does jump up, so would be better in a home with children aged 10 and over, who are okay with dogs being bouncy when saying hello! Jesse is used to having human company throughout the day and isn't able to b left home alone at the moment, therefore will need somebody around all day and leaving hours built up slowly once she is fully settled in.](https://www.thestar.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2024/06/12/10/06/Jesse.jpg?crop=3:2&trim=&width=800)

![Elvis is a beautiful boy with heaps of potential who responds very well to positive reinforcement training and will make a great companion for someone who is passionate about activities such as tracking, agility and/or obedience. Not only will this be rewarding but also establish a strong bond between him and his new family. He will need an understanding and patient home who understand that his exposure to new environments and situations must be controlled.](https://www.thestar.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2024/06/12/10/24/Elvis.jpg?crop=3:2&trim=&width=800)
