The North Shields-based DJ has been making waves ever since he popped up outside Newcastle United’s ground, St James’ Park.

A DJ who shot to Tyneside public conciousness with an impromtu, guerilla show outside St James’ Park has been thwarted in his latest ambitious set attempt.

Schak is known for his pop up gigs across Tyneside, which have included on the Metro, on top of a bus, outside SJP and in a kitchen in B&Q at the Silverlink.

He was invited to perform inside Newcastle’s ground by co-owner Mehrdad Ghodoussi when the post of his gig at the steps of St James’ Park Metro station when viral on social media. Schak played a six-song set prior to the Carabao Cup semi-final win over Southampton.

The trance music rising star was controversially then outed as a former Arsenal fan by eagle-eyed Geordies.

However, in his latest stunt, the DJ has been trying to get access to the abandoned site of former North East waterpark, Wet ‘n’ Wild.

The popular North Shields site has been derelict for years, but Schak was determined to get in to spin his decks.

Posting to his Facebook page, the artist said: “Foaming, was gonna do a rave last neet at Wet N Wild at the top of the Kamikaze but found the access points been closed now.”

He then goes on to add: “One day....one day.”
