North Shields musician Sam Fender recently celebrated an important birthday, as he turned 30 on Thursday, April 25.
The singer-songwriter has already had a very successful career, with two number one albums; Hypersonic Missiles and Seventeen Going Under, as well as plenty of hits including; Getting Started, Play God and Alright.
Fender has gained ‘hometown hero’ status very quickly, and last year he performed a sell-out stadium gig at St James’ Park, with other North East celebrities such as Ant and Dec and Vick Hope in attendance.
As he begins a brand-new decade of his life and career, we look forward to what Fender will do next, and take a look back on his career in photos so far.
