Apparently Geordies are difficult to understand to those unfortunate people not born in the North East.

We have a lot of words which aren’t used outside of the region, but that makes them all the more special.

Geordie is incredibly expressive, with loads of descriptive words to emote and exaggerate how we’re feeling and what we’re doing.

Here are just 19 of them. Of course, there’s many more.
